Consuming animals under current agricultural practices puts you at risk for exposure. Grain-fed animals accumulate pesticides, herbicides, antibiotics and hormones that are far higher than what you receive in hormone-free and organic animals. Grass-fed and free-range meats offer the proper ratio of omega-6 & omega-3 fatty acids that are missing in today's diet. Choose organic when possible.

Raw: non-roasted nuts and minimally processed cheeses.
Meats from grass-fed, free range, and cage free sources without added hormones.
Avoid farm raised and Atlantic fish when possible. (choose cold-water fishes like salmon, mahi-mahi, sardines, etc.)
Organic eggs from free-range chickens
Grass-fed beef
Grass-fed, free-range, organic poultry
Grass-fed lamb
Raw, cold pressed protein powders (whey or plant based)
Venison
